Ben Shapiro to Headline 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference
(Harrisburg, PA) – Daily Signal editor and columnist Ben Shapiro will be the featured dinner speaker at the 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held this Friday and Saturday at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State. Now in its 27th year, it is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.
Joining Ben Shapiro as keynote speakers will be U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, State Senator Scott Wagner, Pennsylvania House Speaker Mike Turzai along with John Gizzi of Newsmax and Randy Wenger from the PA Family Institute. Additional speakers include Peter Schweizer, author and President of the Government Accountability Institute, CNN Commentator Jeff Lord, Tea Party Patriots leader Jenny Beth Martin; Andy Schlafly of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles; along with Congressmen Lou Barletta, Scott Perry and Keith Rothfus.
The 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will feature four interactive panel presentations including: Draining the Susquehanna Swamp moderated by Brittney Parker of the State Policy Network, Policies That Work moderated by Charles Mitchell of the Commonwealth Foundation; And Justice for All moderated by Kevin Shivers from the National Federation of Independent Business-PA; And, Communicating the Conservative Message moderated by political commentator Lenny McAllister.
Attendees at the 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will have the opportunity to receive valuable training by participating in conference workshops including Talking to Your Legislator; The Constitution: Questions & Curiosities; Now It’s a Local Battle: Protecting Privacy in Our Schools; and Win Big League: How to Win Your Campaign.
