in Harrisburg at NFIB Dinner
In town for Small Business Day at the Capitol to lobby their lawmakers

Dozens of Pennsylvania small-business owners arrive in Harrisburg to fight proposed tax increases and government mandates that will negatively impact their companies. The Small Business Day at the Capitol event kicks off with a dinner on April 4 at the Hilton Harrisburg Ballroom. Speakers at that 6:30 p.m. event include Chancellor Frank Brogan of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and Rep. Stan Saylor, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. Kimberley Strassel of the Wall St. Journal editorial board will also speak. Reporters are welcome.

On Wednesday, April 5, business owners walk from the Hilton Hotel to the state Capitol to speak to elected officials about their concerns, including the governor’s proposals to add a billion dollars in additional taxes and increase the minimum wage to $12 an hour.
