SMITH PLACES PHILADELPHIA BROADCAST MEDIA BUY

PITTSBURGH – The Smith for Senate campaign today announced the first investment of the general election in the Philadelphia broadcast media market.

The Philadelphia market is the largest in Pennsylvania: "Today, Tom Smith demonstrated once again that his campaign is well positioned to defeat Senator Bob Casey in November," said campaign manager Jim Conroy. "We will continue to contrast the records of Senator Casey, a ineffective career politician who has done nothing to create jobs; and Tom Smith, a businessperson and proven job creator who will reduce the debt, lower taxes on small business and get our economy moving."

To date, the Casey campaign has aired television ads in only the Pittsburgh market.
