PA Governor Tom Corbett to speak at
2013 PA Leadership Conference

(Harrisburg, PA) – Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett will address the 2013 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference during the event’s Liberty Dinner on Friday, April 19th at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), PA. Governor Corbett will become the first sitting governor to speak at the conference in the 24 year history of the event. He joins Steve Hayes of Fox News/The Weekly Standard; pollster/commentator Scott Rasmussen; Fox News Contributor Deneen Borelli; FrackNation producer Ann McElhinney, U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, political analyst John Gizzi; Congressman Scott Perry; Congressman Keith Rothfus and John Fund of National Review as announced speakers.

The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premier annual gathering of conservatives each year in the Keystone State. This year’s conference will be held on April 19-20. Panel topics include session on Broadening the Conservative Coalition, Unleashing the Economic Potential of Penn’s Woods, Freedom to Work, and a State Issues Roundtable. There will also be three workshop sessions focusing on Using Social Media; The 10th Amendment and States’ Rights and Citizen Lobbying.

The conference begins at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19th with the social media and constitutional workshop sessions and ends at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 20th with the session on citizen lobbying. Speakers, interactive panel presentations, and three meal functions with featured speakers round out the schedule.

A life-long Pennsylvania resident, Governor Tom Corbett has a long and distinguished career serving the citizens of the Commonwealth as Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney, Chair of the Pennsylvania Commission of Crime and Delinquency, Pennsylvania Attorney General and now as Governor.

Upon taking office in January 2011 Corbett immediately dedicated himself to fulfilling the promises he made to Pennsylvanians during his campaign. Putting Pennsylvania back on track for prosperity.

He is encouraging private-sector job growth and putting Pennsylvanians back to work by lowering government barriers to job creation, reducing taxes on our families and job-creating businesses, protecting tax-payer dollars with controlled government spending and providing an open, transparent, accountable and trustworthy government.

Governor Corbett and his wife Susan currently reside at the Governor’s Residence in Harrisburg, but have their family home in Shaler Township, near Pittsburgh. They are the proud parents of two adult children and have one grandchild.
