The nationally known conservative group, American Future Fund Political Action, released its first ads today in Pennsylvania as part of a multimedia advertising campaign to drive support for holding conservatives feet to the fire to uphold free market principles.

They are hitting on the issues of state legislative support for the much-maligned Obamacare program, a massive state tax increase and transportation bill and failure to enact liquor privatization.

The multimedia blitz will encompass an array of digital ad buys designed to drive support on the issues and to build a database of Pennsylvania activists.

The ads drive viewers to a website that says, "We’re fed up. Are you?" and asks activists to sign the Fed Up petition. The media blitz also includes an array of radio spots on conservative and mainstream stations throughout Pennsylvania. The digital ads rotate through issues of Obamacare, a plea for free market principles and one asks the question, "Do PA Senators think keeping government in the booze business is "conservative"?

"Our message is simple: Pennsylvanians are fed up with their elected officials abandoning the free market and supporting policies to increase the size of government," said AFF Political Action Chairman Nick Ryan. "From the failed Obamacare Medicaid expansion, to the gas tax just this week, and continued government control of the state’s liquor industry, Pennsylvania has slowly become a state that is only an enabler to the liberal national agenda."

"We can’t stand by idly any longer," concluded Ryan. "Pennsylvania should be a state where the free market flourishes. Through this effort we intend to hold those conservative lawmakers who promised to uphold conservative principles accountable."

This ad buy is part of the group’s beta test project to inform Pennsylvania voters of what their elected representatives are up to in Harrisburg. State legislators who campaign on free market principles should work to enact those principles rather than promote policies that further a liberal agenda. An informed electorate will hold these legislators accountable for the campaign promises they made and ensure they truly represent the people of Pennsylvania.
