CONSTITUTION GROUP ANNOUNCES BRADFORD COURSE

(Lebanon) – The Constitutional Organization Of Liberty (COOL), Pennsylvania’s leading constitutional education organization, has announced it will be holding a six week series on the US Constitution in Bradford, Pennsylvania, beginning February 27.

Lyle Stewart, who was instrumental in organizing the Bradford presentation on behalf of the McKean County Tea Party, was excited about the upcoming course.

"We have been anxious to bring some more broad-based education about the Constitution to the McKean County area, and COOL had both the coursework as well as the resources needed to meet our needs," he said. "There is no better way to equip the people to take back their government than by educating them about how it works."

Mark Thomas, Chairman of COOL, said that the five-year old organization will be offering the "Institute On The Constitution" (IOTC), which reintroduces class participants to the religious, philosophical and legal concepts that inspired the creation of the United States Constitution.

"The IOTC is both informative and, based on our course presentations, entertaining," Thomas said. "After the successful classes we had last year, COOL’s Board went ahead and approved the expansion of different loctions we use to host our courses."

Louis Petolicchio, one of COOL’s course instructors, said the IOTC combines an intensive study of the Constitution with the historical context of the events surrounding the creation the United States.

"Perhaps the most exciting aspect of teaching the IOTC is the reaction class participants have when they start putting together all of the pieces of history and law that influenced our Founding Fathers," he said. "Some participants have actually expressed disappointment that the course did not go longer."

The "Institute On The Constitution" course will be hosted every consecutive Saturday at the Masonic Center, 625 South Avenue in Bradford, beginning February 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The cost to attend the IOTC is $10 per session per person or $45 if full pre-payment is made, and all study materials are included.
