Conservative columnist, author & commentator takes on ‘liberals gone wild’

Harrisburg (PA) – Award-winning conservative columnist, best-selling author, and commentator Michelle Malkin will be the featured speaker at the 2008 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held April 25th and 26th at the Four Points Sheraton near Harrisburg, PA.

Michelle Malkin is one of America’s most important young journalists. She publishes two of the most widely-read conservative blogs: michellemalkin.com (her personal site) and hotair.com (a group blog that emphasizes video). She is author of three books including Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone WildInvasion: How America Still Welcomes Terrorists, Criminals and Other Foreign Menaces to Our Shores; and In Defense of Internment.

Malkin brings to the podium her stark, no-nonsense conclusions about what needs to be done to help keep Americans safe in an anxious, dangerous time. She also voices her strong opinions on a wide range of topics from education reform to issues of race in America.

Born in Philadelphia, Malkin grew up in southern New Jersey and earned a degree from Oberlin College. She started her journalism career at the Los Angeles Daily News in 1992 and then moved onto the Seattle Times in 1996. Her popular newspaper column has been syndicated nationally by Creators Syndicate since 1999. She is a frequent TV and radio show host and has been a Fox News Channel contributor since 2001 where she is a frequent guest and substitute host. She lives near Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children.
