Call to Action
Pennsylvania’s primary election is coming up Tuesday, May 16th and before you vote there are three things we encourage you to do: Please read our guide, then share our guide and above all pray.

First, please read our guide: [L]pafamily.org/2017/05/primary/[EL]

We often hear leading into election season – especially for judicial elections like this one – that it is difficult finding helpful information about the candidates. That’s why we at the PA Family Council invest in producing a Voter’s Guide every election season to help you in making an informed decision come Election Day.

This year’s election includes candidates for State Supreme Court, Superior Court and Commonwealth Court – you can view some of the responses.

Various Pennsylvania counties also have candidates running for the Court of Common Pleas for which we received some responses as well.

A questionnaire was provided to all of the candidates running for these positions and we highlight any of their responses. All of this is available now on our website – [L]pafamily.org/2017/05/primary/[EL].

"We live in a representative form of government where we are its leaders. It means that every citizen has a responsibility to participate in the decisions that are made, and that includes people of faith using their influence for what is moral and just." – Dr. James Dobson

Second, please help us inform others about our Voter’s Guide.

And lastly – please pray.

The National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 4th. There are over 90 prayer events scheduled throughout Pennsylvania – click here to find one near you.

Over the next two weeks, we encourage you to pray for our elected leaders – for those in authority – and for those elected on May 16th.

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." (1 Timothy 2:1-2, KJV)
