2015 PA Leadership Conference to feature
expanded Workshop Schedule

(Harrisburg, PA) – The 2015 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will include an expanded schedule of seminars and workshops giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the Pennsylvania state constitution, how to run for office and how to effectively communicate a conservative message.

This year’s Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will be held April 17th and 18th at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania. Participants will be able to select two of the five workshops offered including:

[i]Pennsylvania’s Bill of Right[ei]s – A seminar on the rights guaranteed to us by the Pennsylvania state constitution. The seminar will be conducted by the Constitutional Organization of Liberty (COOL) with State Senator Mike Folmer, Lou Petolicchio and Jeff Griffith as presenters.

[i]Motivating Friends & Neighbors[ei] by Telling Your Story instructs in effective personal communications with Anita Moncrief, Beth Anne Mumford and Anna McCauslin of Americans for Prosperity as instructors.

[i]Ten Ways to Evaluate Your Member of Congress[ei] will be presented by David Haas of Heritage Action for America.

[i]Speaking the Language of Liberty[ei] focuses on how to frame your message and will be presented by Bill Norton of the TEA Party Patriots.

[i]Run for Office with Victory Guaranteed[ei] will be a "how to" guide to running for office with Matt Batzel of American Majority as the instructor.

Announced speakers for the 2015 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference include featured dinner speaker Sharyl Attkisson, author of the best-selling book Stonewalled; U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, Pennsylvania House Speaker Mike Turzai, Phelim McAleer, producer of the film Gosnell, and Brent Bozell from the Media Research Center. Additional speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.

The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premier gathering of conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.

In addition to speakers, the 2015 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will include four interactive panel presentations including:

[i]There’s More to Life Than Taxes[ei] with PCNC-TV and KDKA-AM host Lenny McAllister as moderator and panelists Nate Benefield of the Commonwealth Foundation, Jake Haulk of the Allegheny Institute, Pavel Yakovlev from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and Joseph Henchman of the Tax Foundation.

[i]Speed Bumps to Success[ei] with Gene Barr of the PA Chamber of Business & Industry as moderator and panelists Darlene Robbins of the NEPA Manufacturers & Employers, Erica Clayton-Wright of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, Otto Banks from the REACH Alliance and Tom Smith of the Indiana/Armstrong Patriots.

[i]Rising Stars[ei] moderated by Colin Hanna of Let Freedom Ring, USA and featuring State Senator Pat Stefano (R-Fayette) State Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-Washington), State Representative Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) and State Representative Michael Regan (R-Cumberland/York).

The 2015 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will also feature an exhibit area featuring over 40 conservative organizations from throughout the state.
