35. Please feel free to share with us any comments you might have on federal and/or state policy issues:

Responses:

1. *No Islam prayers and teaching of their prayers in the US outside of their mosques.

2. VA and IRS need total reform. Many workers must be fired – not passed on to other jobs. TSA should be privatized – No government employees and pensions with it.

3. The Federal Government must change. The State Government is working well.

4. No new gun control laws. No Stupid used furniture bills either!

5. There needs to be "truth in media" and stronger slander/libel laws on both the federal and state levels because the truth is being withheld and/or censored, while lies and distortions of facts are being spread nationwide as propaganda for all federal and state government elites. The mainstream media is another arm of the government elites, and no longer serves the American public without bias! The Press is no longer free! Freedom of the Press has been sold to the highest bidder!

6. Gov’t is the biz of its Constitutional bounds and borders and should be competitive in nature, at all levels: school through federal.

7. We need to distribute power from local to federal government more equitably. DC is too drunk with power.

8. I think I’m between conservative and moderate base on the issues. Hillary Clinton should be d[is]ciplined by Congress for her lying to the American people about her classify e-mail. Her ability to gain Classifying information should be taken away. If Congress does not act they are setting a bad presidence for the American People.

9. The overall tax system should be simplified and combined. Remove excise and other annoying taxes and simply incorporate into a single income tax. Same for states.

10. Unemployment compensation needs reformed. Almost any one can get it for almost any reason.

11. I don’t believe property should be taxed. Need to be able to own your property without government control of it. It is a punishment. I do not support republican elected officials either they are phony too. Conservative votes are only taken when they cannot pass so they can advertise they are for an issue when they are just pandering. Donald is the only hope.

12. We can’t let state or federal government continue the way they are going now. People are suffering. It’s a big game.

13. You made a mistake with question #10. You have two of the same answers. You have two strongly support. I think you wanted to say strongly oppose.

14. Gambling machines should be allowed in local pubs. Not just pandering to the Casinos who have the money for Campaign Contributions to block it.

15. Campaign Finance Reform must happen. The Establishment on both sides has abandoned the average citizen, the democrats more than the republicans, but the republican are not void of blame. Also, can we talk about the NSA and the FED

16. The local school districts need a bit more checks and balances from the PA Dept of Education regarding finance. I feel most board members don’t truly understand the budget, nor do many superintendents. I have watched and am currently watching incredible manipulation and questionable use of funds. (I am a former school board member) Worse yet…these things are not addressed even when reported.

17. We need to follow our founding father’s advice regarding foreign affairs and interventionism and what the CIA called "blowback" from unnecessary interventionism.

18. welfare recipients must take a drug test and should continue to be tested randomly, pass HB1948, invest in our infrastructure

19. GOP needs to stay neutral and/or shut up on social issues – LGBTQ issues and abortion, among others. Let’s pretend we’re Libertarians when it comes to social issues. I am in my mid 30s. Most people I know +/- 10 years of my age are socially moderate to liberal, and extremely fiscally conscious. I have been forced to call myself a moderate because of how far right the GOP base has been pulled in the past ten years. Focus on fiscal issues and constitutional rights. Take subjective morality out of any and all Republican speeches and propaganda. People will return to and join the party in droves.
