A War Ordinary Americans Will Win

A single case of left-wing cultural aggression might be overlooked as a random event, two as coincidence. But three suggests organization, and the fourth and subsequent examples are evidence of cultural warfare.

Several years ago, Dennis Prager wrote: “The dominant force in America and…other Western countries today is fear of the Left.

“This is a result of the fact that the most dynamic religion of the past 100 years has been neither Christianity nor Islam. It has been leftism.”

But fear of antagonizing leftists is evaporating. It took many generally-fatuous, occasionally violent aggressions over time, but ordinary Americans have come to understand that they are perfectly normal. It’s the Torquemada-left that’s crazily attempting to recast ordinary behaviors and speech as “hate crimes” and victimize ordinary Americans in cultural/racial auto-da-fés.

There was a time in America – not very long ago, really – when Blue Lives Mattered; violent BLM and masked Antifa aggressors would have been arrested and prosecuted; “toxic masculinity” was known simply as “regular guys”; normal conversations weren’t “micro-aggressions”; even Democrats would have agreed that open borders were unacceptably dangerous; almost everyone would have scoffed at biological absurdities like “transgenderism”; and obvious cross dressers, kids with purple hair, weird tattoos, nose rings and other gender and/or sartorial anomalies were politely overlooked as curiosities.

More recently, though, American “progressives” consciously allowed them all to infiltrate and influence their mainstream. The Democratic Party has embraced alt-left culture warriors in the apparent belief that the party’s extreme fringes can get and keep Democrats in power.

Because minding their own business and live-and-let-live attitudes didn’t exempt them from alt-left culture warriors’ gratuitous attacks, ordinary Americans have finally come to realize that “virtue-signaling” is a charade the American Left substitutes for genuine virtue, and their cultural aggressions are merely attempts to intimidate and seize control.

The alt-left is determined to destabilize and dominate America. Having a public voice doesn’t satisfy them. Indeed, counter-culturists seek to silence anyone – everyone – who merely disagrees with them. In actuality, though, most leftists’ intolerance and aggressions are overcompensation for a lack of confidence and subliminal admissions of intellectual insecurity and inferiority.

Ordinary people want to preserve the civil, orderly processes that have always shaped and reshaped the nation’s cultural landscape. But, orderliness frustrates noisy, impatient, power hungry counter-culturists, so the alt-left is waging war.

The only way leftists can win their war on America and American culture is to rewrite the rules, assume absolute moral authority and delegitimize every source of opposition.

But, as usual, the left has overstepped.

A recent Harvard/Harris poll reported: “…66% of voters – including a majority of all parties – say they would not want to live in a state that has increasing taxes, restricts legal gun ownership more strictly, allows abortion up to 9 months, allows minors to get gender surgery without parental permission [including 66% of Democrats], encourages undocumented immigrants, and allows felons to vote.”

Last fall, cultural politics played a role in many public school board elections as parents pushed back on “woke” content in curricula.

June is the month during which the LGBTQIA+ alphabet communities and their enablers celebrate “Pride,” one of Seven Deadly Sins.

In mid-June, thousands of Catholics appeared outside Dodger Stadium to pray for the Dodgers and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, outrageous Catholicism-mocking drag queens the professional sports franchise were “honoring.”

By “celebrating” during June with the in-your-face trans crowd, corporations such as Anheuser Busch, Target and Disney offended millions of core consumers, shed market share, and lost $billions in market capitalization.

If, as left-wing media propagandists insist, “woke” social issues are just figments of the right’s collective imagination, and cultural conservative backlash is futile, then corporate celebrants’ revenues and values would have remained unaffected – or soared.

In fact, ordinary Americans, including traditional liberals who challenge the left’s radical orthodoxies, can win – are winning – the culture war. They were galvanized and energized by the left’s indoctrination and recruitment of other people’s children in schools and public places.

Now, it’s on.

To defeat left-wing extremists, ordinary Americans must speak up – and out. Never be passive. Never give in. Never apologize. Culture warriors take apologies, including from fellow progressives, as admissions of guilt, so never reward them.

Provided they unite to resist, reject and defeat the left’s oppressive counter-cultural campaigns – and vote – ordinary Americans will prevail.
