Corbett Champions Marriage

Two recent attacks to marriage in Pennsylvania are being defended courageously by Governor Tom Corbett.

Gov. Corbett announced that the State Health Dept has filed a petition against D. Bruce Hanes, the register of wills in Montgomery County, challenging his willful defiance of our marriage law and the will of citizens across Pennsylvania. Corbett is also defending against the legal attack brought by the ACLU in the absence of the Attorney General who has failed to do her constitutional duty.

Please contact Governor Corbett to express your gratitude for standing up for marriage between one man and one woman.

PFI Looking for Fall Interns!

Pennsylvania Family Institute is actively recruiting college student interns for Fall 2013 in our downtown Harrisburg offices, two blocks from the state capitol.

The program provides students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in nonprofit government relations and participate in the daily operations of a policy organization. Interns will become familiar with the intricacies of the Pennsylvania legislative process and the philosophy behind and methodology of implementing pro-family public policies by working side-by-side with PFI’s policy staff. These internships are paid.

Interested students should forward a resume and cover letter, or direct questions to: Emily Kreps, Policy Associate. E-mail: [email protected] or phone (717) 545-0600. Deadline to apply is AUGUST 21.

Wonderful week at City on the Hill – "absolutely life-changing experience"

Thank you to all those who helped sponsor a student to come to City on the Hill. 44 young leaders served as senators for the week and we know lives were changed for the better.

Looking forward to next year already – July 20-26, 2014!
