Brent Bozell to Speak at PLC

(Harrisburg, PA) – L. Brent Bozell, III, founder and President of the Media Research Center and a frequent columnist and commentator will be among the featured speakers at the upcoming 2013 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference April 19-20 at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bozell is part of an all-star line-up of speakers set to address the conference which is the premier gathering of conservatives each year in Pennsylvania. Announced speakers include Steve Hayes of Fox News/The Weekly Standard; pollster/commentator Scott Rasmussen; Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint; Fox News contributor Deneen Borelli; FrackNation producer Ann McElhinney, U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, Governor Tom Corbett, John Fund of the National Review; Political analyst John Gizzi; Congressman Scott Perry; and Congressman Keith Rothfus.

Panel topics include sessions on Broadening the Conservative Coalition, Unleashing the Economic Potential of Penn’s Woods, Freedom to Work, a State Issues Roundtable, and a Conservative Faces of the Future panel. There will also be three workshop sessions focusing on Using Social Media; 10th Amendment and States’ Rights; and Citizen Lobbying. The conference begins at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19th with the social media and constitutional workshop sessions and ends at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 20th with the session on citizen lobbying.

L. Brent Bozell, III is a lecturer, syndicated columnist to more than 50 newspapers around the country, television commentator, debater, marketer, businessman, author, publisher and activist, L. Brent Bozell III is one of the most outspoken and effective national leaders in the conservative movement today.

Founder and President of the Media Research Center, Mr. Bozell runs the largest media watchdog organization in America. Since its launch in 1987, the MRC has developed the largest video archive in the world; the popular blog site; the internet news service; the Business and Media Institute; and the Culture and Media Institute. The MRC has over 500,000 members nationwide.

In 2010, Mr. Bozell founded ForAmerica, an organization committed to restoring America to its founding principles. In less than a year ForAmerica has grown to over 1.5 million Facebook followers. In 1998, Mr. Bozell founded and was the first president of the Parents Television Council, the largest group in America dedicated to a restoring responsibility to Hollywood. Before founding the MRC, Mr. Bozell was the finance director and later the president of the National Political Action Committee.
