(Harrisburg, PA) – Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) will hold its first statewide Election Integrity Summit of the year in conjunction with the 2022 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference.  The Election Integrity Summit will be held on Thursday, March 31st and the annual Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will take place April 1-2, 2022 at the Penn Harris Hotel by Wyndham (formerly the Radisson Penn Harris) in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to launch this series of election integrity summits in states across the country, each of which will focus on training citizens as to how to get involved in election systems and to ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity in the 2022 elections nationwide,” said Cleta Mitchell, Senior Legal Fellow at CPI and Director of CPI’s Election Integrity Network. “We learned in Virginia in 2021 that the way to ensure the integrity of the election and to restore the public’s confidence in election outcomes is to train and mobilize citizens.”

The Pennsylvania Election Integrity Summit will be patterned after the important Virginia Election Integrity Summit held in Richmond last August, and will feature expert and citizen leaders providing training on the same topics addressed in Richmond in August: Forming State and Local Election Integrity Task Forces; Protecting Vulnerable Voters from Political Operatives; Recruiting & Training Election Workers & Poll Watchers; Citizen Oversight of Voting Software, Equipment & Systems; Cleaning Voter Rolls; Understanding Absentee Voting & the Role of US Post Office in Election Mail.

There will also be special presentations on the Pennsylvania Election Code, as well as information about what happened in 2020 and how to guard against the same problems recurring in 2022.

The Election Integrity Summit will start with continental breakfast at 7:30 am and will be followed by a closing reception at 4 pm. Registration is $20 until March 1 and $30 thereafter.  To register, visit paleadershipconference.org/register.

“Citizens of Pennsylvania who care about election transparency, accountability, and the rule of law should plan to attend the Summit and learn how they can help uphold those principles in Pennsylvania in 2022, We are very excited about this opportunity to work with Pennsylvanians at the Election Integrity Summit,” Mitchell concluded.

Former Congressman Trey Gowdy, currently a Fox News contributor and host of Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, will be the featured dinner speaker Friday evening at the 2022 Pennsylvania Leadership conferenceJohn Gizzi of Newsmax will be this year’s breakfast speaker.  The conference will also include forums spotlighting candidates for Governor of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Senate.
