(Harrisburg, PA) – Daniel Garza, Executive Director of the LIBRE Initiative will anchor a 2016 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference look at restoring the American Dream when he addresses the conference which will be held April 1-2, 2016 at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), PA. The LIBRE Initiative is a national organization advancing principles and values of economic freedom that empowers the U.S. Hispanic community to thrive and succeed. Mr. Garza has a compelling life story and has emerged as a leading voice for pro-growth, free market solutions to lifting people out of poverty. Following his address, KDKA Radio host Lenny McAllister will moderate a panel discussion entitled [i]Restoring the American Dream[ei].

Mr. Garza will join Fox News Channel (FNC) senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, Stephen Moore of Fox News, and State Senator Scott Wagner as featured speakers at the 2016 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, which is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.

Daniel Garza was tapped by President George W. Bush to serve as Associate Director of the Office of Public Liaison in the White House in 2004. He then became President for Televisa’s Editorial house and was the host of Univision’s weekly program Agenda Washington before taking on his current role as Executive Director of the LIBRE Initiative in June of 2011. He consistently provides a free market perspective as a regular contributor to Univision, Telemundo, and national television/print outlets such as USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and The Federalist.

Born in the Central Valley of California, Garza migrated with his family annually from their ancestral hometown of Garza Gonzalez in Neuvo Leon, Mexico throughout California, Nebraska and Washington State following the crop season as farm workers. His first-hand knowledge of the plight of the immigrant community has earned him a reputation for advocating on behalf of Hispanics for sound public policy recognizing the current status of our economy requires that this vital community play an essential role in bringing about free market solutions.
