Lincoln Institute of Public Opinion Research Names New Managing Director
(Harrisburg, Pa., 03. January. 2000) Lowman Henry, chairman and chief executive officer of the Lincoln Institute of Public Opinion Research announced today that Albert Paschall of Bridgeport, Montgomery County has been named the Institute’s new managing director. Mr. Henry will remain as Chairman and chief executive officer with Mr. Paschall assuming day to day management responsibilities as chief operating officer. Paschall will continue his duties as president and chief executive officer of the King of Prussia Chamber of Commerce at Valley Forge and as managing director of the Montco Chamber of Commerce headquartered in Norristown.
The Lincoln Institute of Public Opinion Research was formed in 1993 to promote the ideals of free market economics and individual liberty through the conduct of public opinion research focused primarily on Pennsylvania. Its platform projects include the annual Pennsylvania Business Climate and Charitable organization surveys as well as Public Opinion Court focus groups designed to gather data on timely issues that affect the Commonwealth. Additionally the institute produces The Lincoln Journal, a quarterly journal of public opinion, reports on the results of Lincoln Institute survey research and newsmaker interviews. A standard feature in each edition is exclusive statewide polling conducted by Sindlinger and Company.
The Institute also produces The Lincoln Radio Journal, a twice-monthly public affairs broadcast featured on 76 of the state’s leading radio stations. Features of the radio journal include Al Sindlinger’s Household Money Supply Reports, Joe Geiger’s non-profit spotlight and it has recently added Scott Rehr’s Home State Economy. Paschall is the show’s senior commentator and will continue in that role. Additionally the Institute syndicate’s his newspaper commentaries “Somedays” to 104 newspapers in the state.
