2013 PA Leadership Conference Offers Three Workshops
(Harrisburg, PA) – The goal of the 2013 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is to equip activists to "Build a Conservative Future." To that end, the conference will offer participants three workshops:
• Using Social Media will be presented by the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity. It will focus on using tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and other "new media" to make your activism more effective.
• The 10th Amendment and States’ Rights will be taught by the Constitutional Organization of Liberty (COOL). Participants will learn more about the 10th Amendment and why it is especially relevant and important as the Federal government seeks to curtail more and more of our basic constitutional rights.
• Citizens Lobbying Workshop will be presented by the Leadership Institute. During this session participants will learn how to approach and effectively communicate a message to elected officials at all levels of government.
The annual Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering each year of conservatives in the Keystone State. This year’s event will be held April 19-20 at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania.
Steve Hayes of Fox News/The Weekly Standard will be the featured speaker at the main conference dinner on Friday, April 19th. Seen regularly on Special Report, Mr. Hayes emerged as one of the Fox News Channel’s most prolific commentators during last year’s presidential election cycle.
Fox News contributor Deneen Borelli will kick-off a segment of the conference focusing on broadening the conservative coalition. Additional featured speakers and panel topics will be announced in the coming weeks.
