Registration is now open for the 2006 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, the premiere annual gathering of public policy conservatives in the Keystone State.  The conference will be held March 31st and April 1st at the Four Points Sheraton near Harrisburg.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Moving Pennsylvania Forward.”  The conference will focus on empowering voters and taxpayers, and reforming state policies to restore Pennsylvania’s economy and spur job creation.

The 2006 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will feature four interactive panel presentations: Reforming the Keystone State, moderated by Matthew J. Brouillette of the Commonwealth Foundation; Empowering the Private Sector, moderated by Dr. Jake Haulk of the Allegheny Institute; Unleashing the Power of Education, moderated by Michael Geer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute; and Communicating Our Message, moderated by Lowman S. Henry of the Lincoln Institute. Also included in this year’s conference will be two “how to” sessions focusing on issue activism, and campaign activism.

Joe Scarborough, primetime anchor for MSNBC’s “Scarborough County” will be the featured speaker at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference’s Liberty Banquet, along with U.S. Senator Rick Santorum.  The conference’s keynote address will be delivered by former Congressman Pat Toomey, who now heads the national Club for Growth.  Additional major speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to the conference program, more than 30 organizations will staff tables and exhibits in the “Marketplace of Ideas” section of the conference, allowing conference attendees to network with the many organizations working to move Pennsylvania forward.

The 2005 conference sold out several weeks in advance of the event, so early registration for the 2006 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is recommended.  Registration can be accomplished on-line at www.paleadershipconference.org. or by calling (717) 232-5919.
