The ‘Faucist’ Regime Has Been Overthrown

Four years after federal/state COVID-19 overreactions destroyed lives and livelihoods, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is “normalizing” the virus by updating its COVID “guidance” to precautions nearly identical to those for other respiratory viruses.

On March 1, CDC announced that being COVID-positive no longer requires five days of isolation, and infections should be treated the same as seasonal flu – isolate until fever-free for 24 hours, and symptoms improve – a/k/a, “stuff grandma knew.”

The  announcement is long overdue, the delay intended, perhaps, to allow people time to forget that the government was wrong about everything COVID-related, including mortality rates, asymptomatic spread, effective treatments, business and school lockdowns, quarantining the healthy, social distancing, outdoor infections, natural immunity, mask and vaccine efficacy and side effects.

The CDC is merely catching up. Despite initial alarm fueled by official proclamations and apocalyptic media, the general public’s attitudes toward COVID-19 began shifting fairly early in the pandemic, primarily because it was they who were most grievously affected by misguided government-imposed restrictions, mandates and lockdowns.

Public skepticism has been vindicated. Things government and media declared “misinformation” were proven factual, as were allegations dismissed as “conspiracy theories.”

Arguably, the greatest single source of COVID-19 misinformation was media-darling Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).

Fauci first claimed the virus came from a civilian Chinese “wet market,” that its “mutations” were “totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human.” He downplayed and dismissed as “opinion” former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield’s suspicions about a lab leak.

Today, we know a Chinese laboratory leaked COVID-19.

Later, Fauci denied any link between that laboratory and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

But, evidence has emerged that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, along with U.S.-based nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, engaged in something known as “gain-of-function research,” the process of intentionally making animal viruses more pathogenic or transmissible in order to (allegedly, at least) “study them.”

Grant money for the controversial experiments came from the NIH’s NIAID, which was headed by…Anthony Fauci!

Clearly, Fauci lied about 1) the source of COVID-19, 2) the Wuhan Institute’s gain-of-function research, and 3) his role in funding the institute’s development of the pathogen.

At home, Fauci was an early proponent of the economy-killing lockdowns that had negligible effect on public health.

In August, 2023, we learned that Sweden, which, in 2020, media Faucists denounced as a “pariah,” because it stayed open and encouraged Swedes to go maskless, came through the pandemic with Europe’s lowest excess mortality rate.

Fauci urged mandatory masking from the outset, insisting that masks prevented viral spread. In fact, he recommended double masking, calling wearing two masks “common sense.”

Last year, Norwegian researchers published a peer-reviewed, cross-sectional study entitled, “Association between face mask use and risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection,” which, summarized, concluded: Face masks don’t work, and may make transmission worse. Moreover, masking worsened rates of depression.

Fauci, among other compromised and/or invested parties, insisted that the never-clinically tested COVID-19 mRNA vaccines were effective and safe. We now know they were – and are – neither. COVID vaccines have been linked to heart, brain, and blood disorders.

The most effective way of dealing with COVID would have been to remain open while following common sense proposals to provide “focused protection of the elderly and vulnerable.”

But, no…

In 2020, COVID-inspired panic, chaos, confusion and irrational overreactions served the purposes of opportunistic Faucist officials who cynically exploited the “emergency” to weaken ballot security and influence a presidential election.

Allied ideologues, some posing as “experts,” issued erratic, contradictory, and wholly unscientific pronouncements (One wonders, how many lives were saved by those directional arrows in supermarket aisles?), lied about COVID, endangered American lives, and violated everyone’s constitutional rights and freedoms.

Nonetheless, Fauci and Faucists in government, national media, Big Pharma and the medical profession have never been charged, indicted, tried or convicted – except in the court of public opinion.

When American institutions are corrupted, and abuse the public’s trust, a la Anthony Fauci and institutional Faucists, people trust them less – or not at all.

But, to the corrupt, there’s never a shortage of “emergencies,” so if Americans don’t push back, and find ways to make them pay this time, they’ll try it – or something like it – again…and again.
