Unanswered Questions About U.S. Capitol Breach

Member Group : Jerry Shenk

Clearly, left-liberals haven’t yet cornered the market on stupidity and poor judgment.

Most Trump rally-goers who appeared there milled about peaceably outside, but the relative-handful who entered the U.S. Capitol Building last week acted inexcusably. Lawbreakers should be punished.

Trump supporters get all the negative press, but, eye-witness accounts of Antifa presence were confirmed by reports that facial recognition software identified known activists disguised as rally-goers. Capitol barriers may have been breached by parties unknown before the president finished speaking – 1.5 miles away. Real-time video at one entrance shows Capitol police standing aside, admitting unidentified people into the building.

Who doubts that anarchists were nearby, ready to riot if Congress rejected electors? Why wouldn’t they opportunistically infiltrate/incite a competing event to discredit rally-goers protesting a rigged election?

National media are ignoring those reports, but, at minimum, they merit nonpartisan investigation and public disclosure.

A little perspective, please…

America has a history of dissent. Colonial Americans protested the 1765 Stamp Act, and conducted the 1773 Boston Tea Party.

Modern Democrats have tolerated, even encouraged civil disobedience and violence since the Vietnam era.

Democrats’ 2011 left-wing takeover of Wisconsin’s State House lasted three weeks. Left-liberals rioted in Washington on Inauguration Day, 2017.

National media celebrated liberal protesters who attacked the Supreme Court, then stormed the Hart Senate Office Building to threaten Republican senators during the 2018 Kavanaugh hearings.

Last summer, Antifa and Black Lives Matter anarchists assaulted federal buildings in and torched large Democrat-run cities with near-impunity. Even downtown Washington was on fire.

Antifa mobs are still terrorizing Portland neighborhoods. Democrats/national media: …crickets…

Tellingly, in July, congressional Democrats killed a resolution aimed at curbing mob violence.

Unsurprisingly, after shrugging summer rioters off as “mostly-peaceful” “justice seekers,” last week, Democrats/media finally met some genuinely-mostly-peaceful justice seekers – and smeared them all.

Their sanctimonious “outrage” at Capitol intruders only makes their excuses for last summer’s riots more disgraceful.

If Democrats were confident the election was legitimate, only legal votes were counted, and the Jurassic mediocrity they nominated won fairly, they would have welcomed proper audits, evidentiary reviews, and forensic analyses of suspect Dominion voting machines/software.

Instead, they stonewalled.

The United States Constitution gives state legislatures plenary power to establish voting laws. Accordingly, millions think there’s sufficient evidence of unconstitutional conduct in six states to warrant a Supreme Court and/or congressional remedy.

In all six, executive branch officials and/or courts unilaterally changed legislated voting deadlines and/or election procedures and eligibility to effectively eliminate ballot security.

But, courts dismissed election lawsuits on technicalities, their claims unexamined, then, Congress’s certification debate was disrupted, so the evidence may never be properly scrutinized.

Already stressed by oppressive COVID-related shutdowns/restrictions, millions of law-abiding voters were pushed to their limits by persuasive evidence of election theft, though few resorted to the Democrat-approved Antifa/BLM norms of resolving political grievances through violence.

The actions and/or inaction of “public servants” – governors, judges, the vice-president, in Congress and the Justice Department – have undermined public trust.

Is the new model for deciding national elections cheating and fraud in swing states home to large, Democrat-run cities?

The Capitol breach is history, but ensuring fair elections, the foundation of a self-governing republic, remains an existential imperative.

Trump voters are angry that fellow Americans who would accept a senescent, venal lifer like Joe Biden as their president may have cheated or, at least, tolerated cheating to “elect” him, then, suspiciously, rejected audits that could prove his legitimacy.

The left called the Capitol breach “insurrection,” a “coup,” but, after Congress reconvened and affirmed a “winner” the “insurrectionists” believe to be illegitimate, no violence ensued. Some coup, huh?

Historically, the first instincts of illegitimate regimes facing resistance are always censorship, intimidation and suppression, so, if Washington Democrats seize on the Capitol breach as an excuse to dismiss millions of Americans’ election doubts, quash dissent, impose shutdowns and/or further infringe on citizens’ constitutional liberties, public anger will escalate, and the backlash will grow and spread.

How Democrats and allied media/Big Tech treat them will determine the outcome.

Ironically, the side that challenged, then never accepted the results of the 2016 election now tell America it’s time for “unity,” for “healing.”

Relax, Democrats, rest easy, media, you made the rules. Nearly all of the millions of arguably-disenfranchised Trump voters are decent people who can be trusted to afford Joe Biden the same deference and respect you lavished on them and Donald Trump.
