White House Adds Insult to Injury

Member Group : Jerry Shenk

In May, the Centers for Disease Control announced, “If you are fully [COVID-19] vaccinated, you can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.”

Currently, 165 million Americans are.

On July 27, President(ish) Joe Biden insulted everyone who isn’t:

REPORTER: “Will you require all federal employees to get vaccinated?”

BIDEN: “That’s under consideration…, but, if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were.”

Biden “forgot” that 35 million lab-tested, CDC-reported COVID survivors – people carrying natural antibodies – don’t need vaccines. Nor do untested/infected millions more.

Last November, CDC estimated that eight times more untested Americans had been infected, most asymptomatically, than the lab-confirmed cases it reported. They all carry antibodies.

Today, adding CDC’s eight-times estimate (280 million) to 35 million lab-confirmed/reported infections (315 million total) approaches America’s entire population. But, since low infection levels persist, adding just 100 million antibody carriers to the fully-vaccinated 165 million leaves ample margin for error/overlap, and still exceeds 80 percent of Americans.

Experts say only 70 percent must be COVID-19 infected/recovered or vaccinated to reach herd immunity.

But, now, citing a “delta” variant, CDC is undermining confidence in the vaccines it promotes by frantically directing everyone to mask-up indoors in areas with “substantial” and “high” virus transmission, in CDC’s estimation, nearly two-thirds of U.S. counties.

On July 21, days before Biden’s gaffe and CDC’s announcement, a “delta variant” study published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine confirmed real-world, data-based findings on the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

The study concludes, “…[O]nly modest differences in vaccine effectiveness were noted with the delta variant.”

Credible sources believe CDC’s directive was based on an outbreak following “wild July 4 indoor parties” in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

No vaccine for any ailment is foolproof, so all have “vaccine breakthrough” infections. However, most post-vaccination COVID-infected victims show milder symptoms, don’t require hospitalization, and, contra-CDC’s breathless, media-hyped warnings, may even be at lower risk of infecting others.

In fact, one outlet reports, “Officials say [Provincetown] is now back to normal thanks to vaccines.”

Also on July 27, Biden’s spokesperson was asked: “If vaccines work, then why do people who have the vaccine now need to wear masks?”

SPOKESPERSON: “Because the public health leaders in our administration have made the determination based on data, …that is a way to make sure they’re protected, their loved ones are protected…an extra step given the transmissibility of the virus.”

Translation: “Because we say so!”

Experts aren’t convinced: Washington Post, July 28 – “CDC reversal on indoor masking prompts experts to ask, ‘Where’s the data?’”

None has been offered.

By “public health leaders,” Biden’s spokesperson means “the hubristic ‘public health’ bureaucrats who already botched national pandemic responses and blew their credibility through contradictory messaging, misinformation, outright prevarications, and hysteria-fueled overreactions that destroyed businesses, jobs, families and lives.”

Many COVID “prophylaxes” were based on poor science. For example, facemasks didn’t stop or even slow the virus’s spread, nonetheless, CDC is fecklessly instructing America to duplicate last year’s failed policies.

But, since CDC already authorized vaccinated people to resume normal pre-pandemic activities mask-free, many/most(?) Americans simply won’t comply.

Sure, CDC’s highly-politicized, dehumanizing, thoroughly-discredited COVID policy blunders make the agency appear utterly useless, but it got one thing right:

The Foundation for Economic Education featured an article entitled, “CDC Reports 51% Increase in Suicide Attempts Among Teenage Girls.

“As [CDC’s] report concludes, the implications of lockdowns, such as ‘physical distancing; barriers to mental health treatment; increases in substance use; and anxiety about family health and economic problems all particularly affected children, contributing to a widespread increase in suicidal thoughts.’ … The surge in teen suicide is just one example of collateral damage from lockdowns – others include surges in child poverty, drug overdoses, …unemployment, [and] a sharp decline in cancer screenings.”

Public agencies should ignore politics, report facts, and allow informed citizens to make personal and family health and safety decisions.

But, no…

At the same time its warmed-over COVID “guidance” is masking schoolchildren, the federal workforce and contractors, the Biden administration is brazenly debasing legal citizenship, risking national security and threatening everyone’s health and safety by welcomingreleasing, even resettling thousands of uninvestigated, unvaccinated (many infected) illegal aliens pouring across our recently-opened southern border.

Anyone who thinks majority voters will tolerate and reward such reckless, irresponsible – insulting – duplicity is as clueless as Joe Biden.
